Sikh Wedding in Fiji - 1925
It’s almost 97 years since this wedding happened. We are almost one century ahead, and many rituals are still the same. Beautiful!
Macbooks Are Too Easy
I had this Macbook Air (2013 model) from my neighbour, who told me it isn’t working. My homie Sameer had a compatible charger, so I went to his home to charge it and make it work.
The charger worked, but the next problem was it was password-protected. Sameer & I watched the first video after searching on Google “How to reset Macbook password”, and we were both shocked that the solution worked.
We broke the security of a Macbook within 10 minutes, one of the most secure systems ever. From personal experience, it was even easier than breaking into a Windows computer.
Sameer was baffled. To cope up, he kept telling himself that this method works only on older systems, but he didn’t try the same on his new system either.
We chilled around for a while, and then I went home.
The Cobra Effect
When Britishers came to India, there was a problem with the snake population. So the Britishers tried to reduce their population by introducing a bounty program.
The bounty program offered a cash reward to people who killed cobras. But the program backfired because the local population started breeding cobras and killing them.
When Britishers got to know this, they shut down the program. Now, the snakes’ people had; became worthless, so the locals released them into the wild, making the snake problem way worse than before.

The Crackers
I saw someone’s story on Insta that these are one of the best things they’ve ever had. I bought it, and I would like to inform everyone this is one of the most shitty items I have ever bought.
FedEx Got FedUp
Click on the tweet and check out the whole thread on this problem. It all happened because FedEx updated their systems recently.
I can imagine this problem happening with Indian addresses as well.
I Have Been Cooking
Cooking is an important skill I must learn before I leave for abroad, so I have started to cook stuff.
I made Bhindi (Ladyfinger) the other day, and I did a great job. I also cooked Veg Pulao. I made Rotis too, but they aren’t in good round shape currently.
I also made a burger for myself, and it was delicious.
I made chowmein too, but I forgot to take a picture.
Organising My Gmail
After procrastinating for years now, I have organised my mail inbox to look less of a mess.
I read many newsletters, so I shifted them all to a different category so that my inbox remains clean with only important emails.
It will take only 5-10 minutes, and I would suggest you should make an effort.
Login into Gmail and go to settings (top-right). Click on show all settings.
Go to the Inbox tab and check the box in front of “Forums”.
Now you’ll have a new mail category tab. Drag your newsletter emails to that tab (One each) and click “Yes” when it asks if you want to receive future emails in the “Forums” tab.
Done!
Get Rid Of Promotions
Advertisement E-mails from Zomato, Paytm, PhonePe etc. and others fill up your inbox? It’s time to unsubscribe!
Just open their e-mail and scroll to the end. There you’ll find a button to unsubscribe. Click on it, and you are done! Do this for every annoying email you get because this takes only seconds and will make your inbox a better place.
Note: This does not make you unsubscribe from transactional e-mails. You’ll continue to receive important updates even though you unsubscribe them.
Note x2: If you receive my newsletter in promotions, please drag the mail to the primary tab so that you receive this in your main inbox.

The Drag
Friday night, right before the weekend lockdown, my friend and I decided to have something from outside. So we went to Burgrill.
I had a BBQ Chicken Pull Burger, and the chicken inside was good, but the cheese and sauces made it complete. After we were done, we headed home.
While on our way, the friend’s scooty tire got punctured. So we had to drag his scooty till home. A punctured scooty is really difficult to drag around, especially when it’s from Rajouri Garden to Ramesh Nagar.
Get On The Crypto Train 🚀
Two tips:
There is no “late” to get in crypto. Make up your mind and start.
You haven’t “lost” any money until you have decided to sell your crypto. So hold and don’t panic sell.
Install WazirX right now, buy some bitcoin and forget about it for the next 2 years. Crypto is the future. and there’s nothing that’ll stop it 🚀
Want to know more about this space? Drop an e-mail because I am also starting, and I believe knowledge is the only thing that increases if we share it. 😇
The ₹188 Incident
I went to a Twenty Four Seven store recently. A lady with her husband entered right after me and asked the cashier about the extra charge debited from her card. It turns out the cashier accidentally deducted ₹18800 instead of ₹188. The lady completely lost her temper and kept shouting at the cashier, reminding him of his error.
They refunded the amount instantly; after the lady left, I asked the guy what really happened, and he said, “Sir, by mistake, I put in extra two zeroes.” Dude, that’s a huge mistake to make!
